This summer, Télémarécottes will be completely renewing its entire installation. This will take place from April 2 to the end of October, so that everything is ready for the new 2024-2025 winter season. The buildings where the gondola leaves and arrives will be completely demolished and rebuilt. All the masts will be dismantled and completely renewed. The departure point of the gondola is in front of our B & B Hotel.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for the small but very pretty "La Creusaz" ski area to keep the sport of skiing alive for tourism and the local population. The change of facility is compulsory. Indeed, the Swiss Federal Office of Transport no longer permits the operation of this type of machine, which uses a clamp system. And yet there have never been any problems. The first chairlift was built in 1953. It was a single-side chairlift. This chairlift was replaced in 1968 by the current four-seater gondola, which will now be replaced by an 8-seater gondola.
